The Sisterhood of Temple Emanu-El is affiliated with the Women of Reform Judaism. We diligently strive to enhance the quality of life for our congregation and members through our many activities. We support the congregation with both financial and physical activities that include our Annual Art Auction, Erev Shabbat Onegs, Yom Kippur "Break-the-Fast," Holiday Celebrations and many other special events. Our members enjoy regular luncheon meetings in September, November and February as well as an Annual Business meeting in April. At our regular meetings, provocative programs expose our members to issues concerning social and community interest. In addition, we have a President's Coffee in December, where we enjoy a time to relax and socialize with each other. In May, we hold a "Dutch Luncheon" where all can enjoy a wonderful program or installation of officers and share a delicious meal that is served to us. Our actions benefit us as individuals and strengthen the Women of Reform Judaism on local, regional and national levels. A very important additional benefit is that through our actions we help to insure the continuity of our Jewish community.
