Rabbi Hillel said, "What is hateful to yourself, do not do to another. That is the whole Torah, the rest is commentary. Go and learn." (Talmud Shabbat 31a)  At Temple Emanu-El, we take Rabbi Hillel's imperative seriously. From weekly Torah study to one night lectures to longer indepth looks at subjects of Jewish interest, we have a community dedicated to adult learning. There is a Hebrew class taught each year, and we also promote interfaith study. Some classes are co-taught by Rabbi Goldsmith and a member of the clergy from a different faith.
